General Terms Conditions and Privacy

GENERAL

The General Terms and Conditions apply to all trainings organized by the URSUS YACHT INSTITUTE (hereinafter: the organizer). Each participant accepts these general terms and conditions by registering for training of the organizer.

By registering for a specific event of the URSUS YACHT INSTITUTE, the individual agrees that the company as a personal data controller may process personal data provided by the individual in the event registration form for the purposes of the event to which the individual is registering.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT TERMS

Registration for the course is official only if you register via the online form.
Upon registration, it is necessary to transfer a reservation in the amount of 30% of the registration fee to our business account opened with NLB d.d., on the basis of which we will issue you an invoice for advance payment. If you do not send us a reservation within 3 days of your registration for the course, we will not consider you a serious participant and we will hand over the place to someone else.

In case of cancellation, the paid reservation will not be refunded. You can use it for any other training that will take place within 6 months of your check-out. If you do not use it, it is retained by Ursus Yacht Institute. The reservation is exempt from the refund criterion below.
The rest of the registration fee must be paid no later than 10 days before the start of the course.

In case you cancel your participation in the course, the course costs will be charged, namely:
• up to 30 days before the start of the course, 10% of the course price,
• 29 to 22 days before the start of the course, 30% of the course price,
• 21 to 15 days before the start of the course, 50% of the course price,
• 14 to 8 days before the start of the course, 80% of the course price,
• cancellation later than 7 days before the start of the course, 100% of the course price.

Upon registration, the course participant may also pay the insurance against the risk of cancellation of participation in the course, which amounts to 10% of the course price and is valid in case of illness or death in the immediate family (upon submission of appropriate papers).

ENTRY FEE

The amount of the entrance fee is provided by the organizer by email. Before the symposium, the organizer submits the appropriate invoice or. e-invoice to the registration fee payer specified by the participant in the application. The entrance fee includes a seminar, materials, a coffee break and a certificate of attendance.

ACCOMMODATION AND MEALSare not included in the price.

PROGRAM

The organizer guarantees the implementation of the published program, but reserves the right to make partial changes to the content. Lectures that will be held in a foreign language without translation into Slovene will be specially marked and announced in advance by the organizer in all public announcements of the program (on the printed invitation, on the website, on the event schedule…).

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO RECORDING OF EVENTS

The organizer reserves the right to audio, video and photo documentation of the event. The materials are the property of the organizer. The organizer may use audio, video and photo materials from the events for promotional purposes indefinitely.

LECTURER PRESENTATIONS

The presentations used by the program providers to present content at educational events are their own work.

PARKING

Parking is provided by the participants themselves, the organizer is not responsible for it.

NOTIFICATION

The participant agrees to be notified of the organizer’s offer. The participant may revoke the consent to the notification at any time by giving written notice to the organizer.

CHANGE OF TERM AND / OR LOCATION OF EDUCATIONAL EVENT

The organizer reserves the right to term or spatial change of education (in the area not more than 15 km from the originally planned place of the event) due to objective reasons or. higher force.

CANCELLATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL EVENT

The organizer reserves the right to cancel the educational event due to insufficient number of applications, other objective reasons or higher force. In this case, the organizer will notify all applicants at least two working days before the announced training. Notification will be by email. In case of cancellation of the training, the organizer will withhold funds for participation in another educational event within 6 months.
We reserve the right to change the location and change the date of education. We inform all participants about any change in a timely manner. We reserve the right to change the program.

SEMINAR MATERIAL

Participants receive seminar material in writing, of which the organizer informs the participants in advance. The seminar material is copyrighted and is intended for participants in education for their own use. Reproduction or distribution of parts or the whole without the consent of the organizer is not allowed.
